A while back I shared this design board:
My e-decorating client didn't love the gold, so we did some minor tweaks and this is the final design:
I'm revisiting this room, because I sewed the pillows for the room and I wanted to share with you:
I'm going to push hard for "afters" of this project :)
ps - wow my floors look red. Although they are reddish.. they aren't THAT red. I do have dreams of getting them refinished...... someday.

I love both of those design boards - they are so pretty and calming. And great work on the pillows.
ReplyDeleteFor whatever reason, gold is so scary to people! I love using gold... makes everything seem so elegant. I'm excited to see the room afters - even without the gold!
ReplyDeleteBryn, I like the gold you suggested in the first place, but these two pillows are lovely too. Do show the AFTER!

looks great! It looks like you include zippers in your pillows? I'd love to know what pattern/tutorial you first used for doing this. thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou MUST show the after! It's part of your growing business- They have to say yes. Love both looks- great job!
ReplyDeletelove the boards--especially the first--such a nice, quiet sophistication! Fingers crossed for "after" shots!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that mirror in your design board - where is it from??

Gorgeous, all of it.. both ways :)
ReplyDeleteBoth of your boards are gorgeous- too bad about the gold...I can't figure out why people seem so afraid of it- I ADORE gold accents. Love the pillows- the chevrons are so fabulous. I can't wait to see the afters!!
ReplyDeleteGreat board. Love the pillows. I did like the first one with the gold accents.
ReplyDeleteyour pillows are lovely, but i do miss the gold! it adds a pop to the overall design.
