I live REALLY close to a Home Goods, which can be dangerous. I was in the other day returning some items for clients and found this pretty lantern.
First let me explain a little about me and accessories - I live by this quote "Have nothing in your home that you do not know to be useful, or believe to be beautiful”. Translation - I don't buy things to just fill space. They must either be useful or beautiful to me.
When I came across this lantern it was very beautiful to me. I LOVE the cane back-like weaving.
Look at the pattern it's throwing onto the fireplace when the candle is lit - so cool!
The best part - it was only $20 :)

I used to drive quite a way to get to the closest HomeGoods. Now we finally have one closer to San Francisco! Glad to know I am not the only fan :) I love your blog and the great finds you share! Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteYeah, thats a keeper!
ReplyDeleteLove the lantern and the price! I don't know what I would do without Home Goods! Its allowed me to save lots of money and time. I live by that quote, too. It keeps clutter out of my life! Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI saw almost the same exact one...however, the one I saw used oil instead of a candle...LOVE IT!
ReplyDeleteWow it's stunning...I would have picked it too :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great find! I love you motto by the way.
ReplyDeleteFantastic find, Bryn! Thank you for the reminder to take time to build our homes with special, beautiful things. I'm going to spend the weekend purging the place of things that fail to meet the "useful/beautiful" criteria! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteI live really close to a Marshalls and it's pretty dangerous too. I always seem to have to make a *quick stop* before going into Kroger or coming home from school. I love your motto btw, I hate clutter, and that is such a great way to keep things practical!
ReplyDeleteHomeGoods is very dangerous!! It's so funny how similar our fireplaces are!
ReplyDeleteHomeGoods is the best! I live just up the street from one. I love it!
ReplyDeleteGreat addition!
ReplyDeleteJUST bought this same one last week. Intend to be putting it next to our firepit outside this spring/summer, but for now its new home is in my family room and I personally think it looks fabulous! Looks perfect on your hearth!
