Well, here it goes.. I just booked tickets to NYC for a flight going out TONIGHT. I luckily secured two tickets (the day before!) to the Nate Berkus blogger show!
Yes, I know I said I wasn't going to go... but I felt such regret. After all, this has pretty much turned into such a big industry event. My pal Traci came to the rescue and we're going to share a cab and hotel room and I'm doing it!!
So tell me - are you going? If so I want to meet you! I am truthfully more excited about meeting all my blogger girlfriends than actually going to the show :)

Im with you - way more excited to meet the other bloggers than Nate. (And Im sure I won't be meeting nate as I would never run up to him or anything like that)

ReplyDeleteHaving sat in a few TV audiences, let me tell you that it will not be an industry event. I know some of you ladies are planning on hitting the bars after the show, so I hope you all have a blast.
Just remember that it's just a talk show and sitting in the audience isn't a big deal. Hundreds of people do it every day.

Anon - let me clarify... I didn't mean the actual show is an industry event, I meant that there are so many designer bloggers coming out for it that it's almost turned into more of a huge meet and greet than just the show. It will be 90% networking and 10% enjoying the show. This is the reason I decided to go! To meet many other designers in my "industry" (aka blogger turned e-decorator turned full time designer).

Ahhh I'm so jealous!!! I wanted to go so badly but ticket prices were insane on such short notice and I just couldn't make it happen with my work levels right now... :( So bummed. Can't wait to hear how it goes!
