But for now I am grateful for my little linen closet with wire shelves and sheets from Home Goods :) At least learning how to properly fold a fitted sheet is free, thanks to Domino and Brides.com.
Speaking of sheets, I love love LOVE my new Duvet cover from Overstock that I mentioned earlier. I highly recommend it to everyone out there. Also, the color is very true to the picture. (I ordered the Willow aka Sage).
This fitted sheet thing is a bunch of hooey because in the instructional pictures, the thing always lays flat, which it does not do in real life. Would that it were so!
ReplyDeleteOK, I feel like I am leaving this comment everywhere right now, but: Peacock Alley? They have a lot at Tuesday Morning at the moment. I just bought a set of king sheets for 79.99 (down from 500). They also have Sferra but they're a little more expensive (still nothing near full price, though)! Hope you can similarly score.
ReplyDeleteAh yes....this is on my wish list as well. At the moment we don't even have a linen closet and all of my sheets and towels are stuffed into drawers. I would love to have all my things organized and visible like in the image. So nice!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Yes, and the little line of pretty soaps! My kids would have this closet looking not so pretty in two seconds flat! Janell
ReplyDeleteI feel motivated to clean and organize my linen closet this weekend!
ReplyDeleteI am so with The Bee Charmer. I fold my fitted sheets like that, and they totally DO NOT lay flat. Good riddance! ;-) But if you head to Tuesday Morning like Rebecca suggests and find some Peacock Alley or Sferra sheets, call me, please!!
ReplyDeleteI ordered that duvet like a crazy person after you posted about it! ...like I HAD to have it! ha ha
ReplyDeleteI love it too! I got the chocolate/gold and it is actually more of a green tone as the reviews stated, but it is still perfect. Thanks for the rec!! :)
Good Lord, I wanna know who has time to make their linen closet look like that. I have little to NO spare time. Oh, and I don't even have a linen closet.
ReplyDeleteBut oh, the dream looks far better than reality, doesn't it? Sigh.
I loved that article from Domino!
ReplyDeleteLove the duvet cover! I purchased it upon your suggestion and am totally pleased!
ReplyDeleteOh to have a closet like that...I love organization stuff mostly because I can never seem to get there myself!! I'm totally with the Bee Charmer about the fitted sheets! I guess you have to iron them to get them to lay flat like that. Who wants to iron sheets??
ReplyDeleteI love an organized linen closet!
ReplyDeleteI recently did a couple posts on this exact topic - check them out!

I am a big fan of Overstock! Yes...the perfect linen closet must go on the wish list for the new house.
ReplyDeleteSuch a perfect linen closet. I love how some sets are tied with a ribbon on the top shelf to keep all pieces together.
ReplyDeleteI have one tip about bedsheet storage: fold all the pieces and stick it inside one of the pillowcases. Easy to tote and store!
ReplyDeleteI hae one tip about bedsheet storage: for each set, fold all the pieces and stick it inside one pillowcase. Easy to tote and store!
