I'm a believer that you can get great original art on a budget, and Etsy.com thankfully helps make this happen every day. It's my go to place! I've been needed some 'fresh' art so I went browsing on Etsy this morning to find some new stuff. Here is what I've found...
Beautiful poppy watercolors by artist siiso
Also by the same artist, is this really cool abstract floral:
Another great watercolor artist, Paul Young
I love these dark, moody photographs by Valeria Heine
Another very talented photographer, Jennifer Paul
All these prints are around the price of a shirt! I love Etsy :)
I also found a couple great painters on Etsy, but I'll save those for another post later this week.
Incredible finds!! Isn't etsy great??
ReplyDeleteLove your dedication to finding original art... I feel the same! especially, when it's so attainable!
Bryn, http://www.ugallery.com/ is another great source for less expensive art. The site used to be for art students as a way to showcase their work to a larger audience but I'm not sure it's so school based now. Anyway if you're not familiar with it I thought you'd enjoy another source (though you can always find something pretty fab on etsy!)
ReplyDeleteLove that abstract floral! I can't wait to find some really great art for our new place - we need it!
ReplyDeleteIs there a 12-step program? I am addicted to Etsy - though I'm certain this is one habit I'll never kick. :)
ReplyDeleteI just bought 3 of these! Thanks for putting them in front of me :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors in the work done by that first artist!
ReplyDeleteI too love Etsy art! It's so pretty and such a great way to find new artists - so much talented people on there!
ReplyDeleteWOW...you did all the work for us! I truly love the watercolors......
ReplyDeleteLOVE Etsy art. Was just browsing some this afternoon! There is so much on that site...could spend all day there!
ReplyDeleteI've blogged so much about all my Etsy art purchases, it's nice to know I'm not alone!
ReplyDeleteI had this ( http://www.etsy.com/transaction/31519524 ) marked as a fav for a few days now, and when I realized it's the same artist you mentioned I finally committed and bought it :)
