Painting the Fireplace

Is what we are doing today.

I'm so happy and thankful for the help our family is given us, but it will be nice getting back to the daily grind tomorrow afternoon. I promise soon here on the blog there will be more content other than pictures of our progress. (There will still be some of that too).

ps- I love my little cast iron stool. Nanny brought it for me and I recovered it with some Duralee fabric. She brought me tons of fun goodies.. I can't wait to show you all!

  2. Keep posting the progress photos, I'm loving them! Is that sisal carpet? Did you just have it installed? Is it natural, synthetic or wool?

  18. I'm interested to see what you do about the fireplace surround. We have that same brass thing that you do/did, but it's such a large opening, we can't find an affordable solution to replacing it.
