This...

This is the look I want to achieve in the entry of our new home. Well, the cheap version anyway. And without the settee. Okay, really just the paint colors. :)

  11. love it! i was wondering if you have any inspirational pics involving staircase windows. i have a window that is rather high in my staircase and i'm debating about whether to do some sort of drapes or incorporate it into some wall art. i've been looking around for ideas, but it's not so easy to find images on this. :)

  13. That was my inspiration pic for my new home too! I used ben moore horizon for the walls and white for trimwork and spindles, I stained my handrail (a mix of ebony and natural- minwax) to match the floor for practical reasons. Now I am looking for a bench like the one Sarah used, but I have not found one with the right size footprint in my price range. Ballard designs had a similar mirror which I plan to order.
Your work is really amazing and I cannot wait to see what you do with your new space.
