Watch this little animated image to see the progression (and my thought process) of the big spaced black art wall:
Isn't this fun? I made it using this.
After a couple nights of having my cute horsey up, my husband said "that needs to come down. It's staring at me." Our bed faces the art wall, so after a little laugh we knew it had to come down. I replaced it with a beach landscape that my grandmother painted. I actually like it better because it reminds me of Laguna Beach, a spot that holds dear to my heart from California.
You'll have to wait a couple hours so I can take some nice pictures of the after.. I must wait for the sun to come out!

Hilarious about the horse! Made me laugh at work. Can't wait to see the finished product. Looks great so far.
ReplyDeleteHi Bryn! I love the idea of using an animated GIF for this post, so cool! I might actually borrow your animated gif idea for some future makeunder posts on my blog as well.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the inspiration!
Sorry it took me forever to answer your email about what program I use to make a gif (I was out of town)
ReplyDeleteThat is the COOLEST thing!
ReplyDeleteI'm cracking up about the horse comment - for some reason, it made me think of old Scooby Doo cartoons, where Shaggy always thinks a painting is "following" him.
NO, I'm not high - just a hormonally-challenged (i.e. prego) child of the 70's!
Hey Bryn...love the space! I have been very impressed with your reveals lately! I'm lookng forward to seeing the 'black bedroom' finished!
ReplyDeleteI've just began a 'home blog' myself a couple of months ago and wondered if you had any tips on creating a successful blog. I'm stumped!
