Be brave, go beige.

When IKEA came out with their "be brave, not beige" campaign, I was a bit hurt. What's wrong with Beige?

Well, take this IKEA! The perfect, sexy, beautiful beige room:



Don't worry, I still love you though.

ps- you may or may not have seen my tweet that I'm updating my blog design to match my new website that I'm currently working on. I'll be adding some color, and am set to launch the blog Monday!

    I had to smile that you devoted this post to beige and then closed by saying you were going to add color to your blog. :)

    Beige, when done right, is wonderful. Sadly, I tend to pick beige because it's a safe color, for the most part. There's a difference between beige-by-intent and beige-by-default. :)

    I agree with IKEA, beige is boring, that's one of my biggest pet peeves in decorating.
