space of the day

I dedicate this space of the day to my client, Laura, who is still on the fence about using Ghost Chairs with a farmhouse table :)



Laura - they would be PERFECT for your smaller scaled dining area!!

    I love ghost chairs with just about anything... I've been coveting them for years. I would say go for it, but then again, I love them - trend or no trend.

    That trend is already on it's last legs so I would just save my $$ and go with a modern bench or something.

    My sister-in-law has ghost chairs with a French Table.
    They really do work with a myriad of tables and spaces.
    love that space.

    I say nay. I don't think the two look good together at all, and I think ghost chairs are overdone in general.

    I like ghost chairs but can't say that I like them in this space and I think an entire table of them is way, way too many. I think I'd go with benches instead. And then maybe you could use ghost chairs at the head and foot of the table. Best of both worlds!

    I am totally ghost chair lover!!!
    They fit in anywere and will be a a classic piece of great design. I say go for it with that table, dear client! Or mix and match a little.
