I want to sit down in front of a mirror and braid my hair over and over and over until I perfect this look:
Unfortunately, it's much harder braiding curly hair, but practice makes perfect, eh? Isn't it just awesome?? Found via Darling Dexter.

I LOVE wearing my hair like this! It's so easy to do wet and pull the rest back in a bun...or put Deva Curl gel (absolute fave) in the rest, let it dry wavy, and pin the braid back under waves. And then throw on some colored tights and you are one chic chick. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's harder to braid curly hair, but at the same time, curly is more forgiving. I love that look too, but it does NOT look good on me. :-(
ReplyDeleteI think it's easier to braid curly hair -- it's harder to see little mistakes!
ReplyDeleteAnd to have a face as gorgeous as that? Sign me up. Any hair would look rockin'.
ReplyDeleteI love that look, but totally don't have the hair length or the face for it. You could totally pull it off Bryn.
ReplyDeleteI love wearing my hair like this and mine is super curly. I grab the part I want to braid in the front, put the rest in a ponytail to hold it away, braid the front part only pulling into the braid from the front of your face, and when the braids done, I just pull it all together back! Easy peasy. It's great for those pesky layers that won't stay away from your face!
ReplyDeleteLook at it this way: when you braid curly hair, it STAYS braided! My straight hair just slides right out. That's why I perm. ;)
