The Lovely Bones

About a year and a half ago, I found out via the world wide web that casting and production had just begun for The Lovely Bones. I was soo excited, it's one of my favorite books and no matter how many times I read it, it always makes me cry.

The trailer is now out... I'm unsure if I'll love the movie as much as I love the book, but I do like how they have created the heaven scenes.

Check it out!

  3. Wow, I'm with you, the way they created Heaven is amazing. The whole thing looks much more suspenseful than the book was.

  4. OMG, this was such a heartbreaking book. Based on the preview, I think I already approve the director's interpretation of the novel.

Have you read The Time Traveller's Wife? I read it right after the Lovely Bones and can't wait to see that movie too!

  14. The book made me cry as well. December seems so far away! I'm sure the movie won't compare to the book but I'm going to be sure not to read the book again right before seeing it.

  16. I have such a girl-crush on Rachel Weisz (playing the mom) that I'll probably have to see this movie even though I actually didn't love the book (sorry. I know everyone loves it, I must just be dead inside.)
