A not-pregnant-yet-but-want-someday Item

Nope, we're not pregnant nor will we be for a while, but I found this on some other blogs and I'm in love with it!

Not only is it neutral and modern, but the free movement actually helps baby's development and equilibrium. Stolen from the website:

"The benefit of suspending it in this manner is that the cradle doesn't rock in one direction only, but allows soft rhythmical movements familiar to the baby from conception. It also makes it easier to start the cradle moving. Experiencing its ability to control the movement of the cradle contributes greatly to the baby developing awareness of its own body."

You can find it here.

  1. It's very cute but you would only be able to use it for a month or two. At three months the baby will be using his/her feet to scoot on his/her back and will end up mashing his/her head on the sides. I had a basinette that my husband used as a baby and I could only use it for two months before my babies were getting too big and moving too much and I felt they were unsafe in it.

  2. I love its uniqueness, but maybe I'm paranoid for thinking "what if you hang it off the ceiling and for some reason it falls with the baby inside?" Oh no.

  4. That's really cool. I've never seen that before. We would have had absolutely no room to set that up though. Maybe outside? Or maybe for the next one.
